Course reflection HCO 312
HCOM 312 was one of the few I took in English. I took this class with Dr. Lisa Watson. It was a very interesting class because it was like a Spanish class, but in English. We had to do critical thinking, analyzing, a lot of reading, group work, make presentations and write essays. It was a very busy class, the books studied were very interesting, they helped me see life from another perspective. We did very interesting activities. For example, one consisted in invite a friend to a coffee and turn off the phones for an hour, this exercise was assigned to realize how technology has impacted people and society. It was a class with a lot of reading and writing but everything with a purpose. This class fills the Gwar requirement for the Spanish major.
