Problematic grammatical, discursive, and pragmatic issues are analyzed and the grammar of Spanish is reviewed in detail. (Prereq: SPAN 202)
Units: 4
Course reflection SPAN 315
I took the class of Span 315 with Dr. Pablo Oliva. I took this class in order to fill MLO 1 and 2. This class was a class where I applied my knowledge in both English and Spanish. It was a very complex class because we had to translate texts from English to Spanish and vice versa, which was not easy. We learned the 15 techniques that are used in translation, the difference between translator and interpreter, we also learned the differences of grammar in different languages and how important it is to use them correctly. We work in groups, which helped us to practice our second language. The readings and the work give in class was helpful for me because put on practice my knowledge. This class expanded our knowledge in both languages and we also learned how important it is to respect each language.
