Course Reflection SPAN 313
In the course of SPAN 313, I have learned about phoneme which studies the articulation of words. Also, I learned about the phonology that deals with the phoneme system as they interact and the meaning. I have learned about occlusive words, fricatives, affricates, etc. Also, through this class, I learned to distinguish the places in our mouth where the pronunciation of the sounds of the phonemes occurs. Other things that we have seen in this class are the allophones, the morphology and the allomorphs new courses where we have developed the ability to differentiate between an allophone and an allomorph. Other topics that we have learned in class is how Spanish in contact with other languages has had an impact on its morphology, on its syntax, on how to communicate with its community. In this class we also learned speaking skills in front of the audience, this we have achieved through oral presentations. This class completes the MLO 2 requirements for my Spanish major.
Here is a power point of one of my presentations on the Span 313 class.
