Course Reflection SPAN 301
One of the most important classes I took was SPAN 301 with Dr. Pablo Oliva. The name of this class is Spanish Composition & Oral Practice and the name says it all. In this course I had the opportunity to learn a little more about Spanish. I learned about some of the different ways of narration. For example the argumentative text and the expository text. I also had the opportunity to learn a little more about the rules of punctuation and accentuation. We review some verbs and how to conjugate them in different times. In the class we also learned new words and had the opportunity to put them into practice through our oral presentations. Another of the most interesting things in the class was that we saw speeches to learn how to perform in public, some were informative, some were political and others were simply life experiences. These videos serve us a lot to reflect on our person. There was one that made a big impact on me because it made me think who I really I’m. We also focus on one of the most important themes in the world and it was on the genre. This topic seemed very interesting to me because we could know a little more about how important it is for the world. We are all have to consider yourself equal regardless of our sexual preferences. This was a very productive class and Professor Oliva informed us and taught us the best way.
Here is one of my essays that I made for my Span 301 class.
